One Light volunteers support Canungra

The yearly fundraising event kicks off in late September and runs for all of October. The event is facilitated by the Canungra Chamber of Commerce to raise awareness and funds for all types of cancer.

Turning Canungra Pink was started in 2011 by local business owner Di Crooks, a breast cancer survivor. In 2013 the Canungra Chamber of Commerce became involved, creating a fundraising event that lasted throughout October and involved most businesses and many residents in the town.

Pink Assist was established in 2017 and has helped many local Canungra residents through their cancer journey.
