Disaster Relief
Australia is no stranger to extreme weather – bushfire, flooding, drought and skin-peeling heat are central to its history and mythology – with significant agricultural consequences. The absence of disaster cover causes many individuals and communities severe economic and social losses.
Domestic Violence
We regard family violence as extremely serious and see the nature of violence in family relationships as insidious because it is an abuse of trust. There is often a continuing threat to the victim’s safety or their life, or the lives of their children and sometimes to extended family members.
Extreme Poverty
Australia is the second-wealthiest country in the world regarding wealth per adult, but its poverty rate has become high. It is currently the 14th highest out of 36 Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries. We believe that every person is of infinite value; every person matters.
Homelessness
The vast majority of extreme social challenges have their cause or effect in homelessness or the fear of becoming homeless. So, in the end, it seems that it will need to be the kindness of Businesses and their philanthropic leaders coupled with passionate not-for-profit volunteers that will need to step up to solve the major social challenge of our time.
Education
Education is a significant predictor of future employment, welfare and health prospects. It improves a person’s ability to contribute socially and economically to the community. We’ll all prosper if we have well-educated young people going on to employment.
Medical Care
Every year around 21,000 teenagers and young adults in Australia are told their parent has cancer. The need to care for their parents often disrupts these young people’s efforts for increased social, emotional and financial independence. We help to raise funds and make Grants across every area of cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Our Team
Every member of our team is a specialist in their field. Together, they operate a very lean cost structure, utilising volunteer and sponsored resources.

Craig is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer. Before establishing Law Elements in 2013, Craig worked in leading tier-one Australian and South African law firms since 2000. Craig is currently the principal and director of Law Elements Pty Ltd. He is the past President of the Queensland Chapter of the Australia Africa Business Council, the International Liaison Officer of the National Board of the Australian Africa Business Council and a member of the Queensland Law Society.

Tony is the founder of Wiese & Stone, a corporate advisory focusing on M&A, expansion strategies and IPO. He is a veteran of thirty M&A deals and three IPOs. Previously, Tony was Co-founder, Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer, and company secretary of ASX-listed BPS Technology Limited, which operates trading, payment and incentive platforms in 6 countries (10 years). Before that, he was Chief Executive Officer of JSE-listed Onelogix Group Limited, which included the 226 PostNet network (3 years). Before that, he was Executive Director of JSE-listed Super Group Limited, Africa’s second-largest transport & logistics company (10 years).

Imilian managed 18 Childcare Centres for a listed company. Previously she was the founder of 13 of the 18 Childcare Centres. Her duties included planning concerts, sports days and fundraisers, weekly staff meetings and conflict resolution. Skills include bookkeeping, business strategies, budgets, and marketing.
Imilian worked as a volunteer at Newlife Aged Care. She assisted clients with personal care activities and companionship.
Cara is 27 years old and immigrated to Australia from South Africa when she was eight. She lives on the beautiful Gold Coast and enjoys going to the dog beach in the summertime and playing with her long-haired dachshunds, Gnocchi and Chinni.
She is a Lawyer and Chartered Accountant at one of the 'Big 4' Accounting firms. She has been a mentor with the Australian Business Community Network (ABCN) since 2017. Cara volunteers in a program to improve career opportunities for disadvantaged youth. She recently joined the National Parks Association of Queensland Inc. as an assistant company secretary.
As of August 2019, Cara is the Social Engagement Coordinator at One Light Charity Foundation. Her role will include updating and coordinating content and campaigns on various Social Media platforms, and she will engage with the broader community through these platforms. She will also attend multiple social events representing One Light Charity.
